Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.

H

ow many Oktoberfests until October? Frankly, we don’t know but there are several more harvest fests taking place across the state this weekend, next weekend, and through next month too. Crisp, sessionable lagers borne of German tradition are common right now, as are fresh hop beers that are just starting to hit tap lines.

What other new flavors are on tap this week?

There is a uniquely dry-hopped brown ale, a sunflower seed lager, a dark hefeweizen-style beer, a benefit for Maui, and a beer designed to pair with grilled meats, among others.

Each week, the Beer Dabbler team highlights the most tantalizing new beers available across the state that we’re most excited to try. Check out these Top Flights at Dabbler Depot—Click on each image for stock levels.
