Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.

3 Sheeps Brewing Co.

  • Wisconsinitis A new 5.0% ABV cream ale has been added to the 3 Sheep’s year-round lineup.

Arbeiter Brewing

  • Easy P.Z. A 6.9% ABV, 67 IBU cold IPA made with Pink and Zumo hops(both new), with notes of grapefruit, lime, lemon, and stone fruit.

Bad Weather Brewing Company

  • Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt – A winter warmer made with cinnamon and coconut.

Bear Cave Brewing

  • HelioCitra – Citra hops shine in this 7.1% ABV, 70 IBU American IPA with flavors of citrus peel, mango, and tropical fruit.

Brew d’Etat

Now open with a physical taproom in Jordan, the brewery is currently pouring:

  • Brew d’Wrong A strawberry milk stout collaboration with Just Plain Wrong brewing.
  • Brisco County Juice A hazy double IPA with Mosaic and Azacca hops. 8.5% ABV.

  • Manifest Aggression “An IPA with bold flavors of tropical fruits and a delightful herbal aftertaste. Imagine a burst of Sunny D upfront, followed by a luscious peach tea finish,” the brewery says of this taproom-only offering. 6.7% ABV.

FINNEGANS Brew Co.

  • The Minnie-apple A wood-aged, barrel-aged Belgian-style ale that pours 9.2% ABV.

Fulton Brewing

  • Cold Digger – A taproom-exclusive blonde ale with coffee. 4.7% ABV, 12 IBU.
  • Walleye – A pilot batch of an upcoming Hop Kingdom addition, this IPA is 5.4% ABV, 35 IBU and is described as similar to Hopstar. Currently taproom only.

Hacienda Beer Co.

  • Stop, Don’t, Come Back – A German-style lager with flavors of blueberry, mango, citrus, and pine. 4.9% ABV.
  • Vertigogo A 7.8% ABV robust milk stout.

Hackamore Brewing Company

  • To Bill Bradsky A 6.3% ABV, 40 IBU pale ale made with Azacca, Citra and El Dorado hops and English yeast.

Hayes’ Public House

  • Rye India Pale Lager – A crisp lager with Simcoe and Citra hops and a hint of spice. 5.8% ABV, 65 IBU.

Jack Pine Brewery

  • Dead on Dill – The pickle cream ale is now available year-round, kicking off with a tapping at Jack Pine this Friday.

Junkyard Brewing Co.

  • Keep Me Cold – A (heavily) fruited sour ale with mango.
  • Mama’s Trip To Jamaica Prange, pineapple, lime, and grenadine flavors in a beer inspired by Jamaican Rum Punch.
  • Nectar-Tron “This New England-style IPA was brewed with a blend of Citra, and Nectaron hops. The Nectaron hop hails from New Zealand and is loaded with flavors and aromas of citrus, peaches, and passionfruit,” Junkyard notes.
  • O.G. Kushions Melon and tropic fruit flavors from a combination of Citra, Bru-1, Summit, Mosaic, and Eureka hops.
  • SELL! SELL! SELL! – A pie-inspired sour ale made with blueberries, key lime, graham cracker, and vanilla.

Keepsake Cidery

  • Jewel – A semi-dry cider co-fermented with jewel cherries. “Jewel cherries bring an incredible richness to the cider, a grounding earthiness, and a comforting note of cinnamon,” the cidery explains.

Klockow Brewing Company

  • Shrubbery – A line of hemp-derived THC seltzers. 10mg.

Lake Monster Brewing

  • Serene Lake Monster’s THC beverage product line.

Lakeside Tavern & Brewery

  • Burly Bean – A 7% ABV stout with espresso cold brew coffee.

Mankato Brewery

  • Citrus Bomb – Double IPA

Modist Brewing Co.

  • Amongst The Madness – Available on Saturday, this new oak-aged Kolsch-style ale has cracker, honey, light malt sweetness, herbal spice, and a delicate fruitiness, Modist says. 4.5% ABV.
  • Last of the Best: Simcoe – On tap Saturday and in stores next week, this Pilsner was made with both Simcoe and Saaz hops.
  • Tater Tot Hotdish (Other Half 10yr Anniversary Edition) – A triple dry-hopped double IPA that is soft in body with bright notes of candied orange peel, grapefruit, guava, peach, mango, lychee and more. Brewed for Other Half’s tenth anniversary.

Montgomery Brewing Company

  • The General An imperial stout.

North 20 Brewing Co.

  • Hop Water Now available in Rosemount.

Nouvelle Brewing

  • Bean Dreams – A bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout blended and conditions on cacao nibs and vanilla beans.
  • Chilly Willy Penguin Bones “Flavors of sweet stone fruits, pine, orange zest, and yuzu fruit explode from a crisp and clear base of pilsner and rice with Idaho 7 and Alora hops,” the brewpub says of this 8.2% ABV double cold IPA.
  • Cosmic Lazer –– A bright and soft New England-style IPA with notes of yuzu and calamansi, plus peach and pineapple. 7.7% ABV.
  • Fruity Gushers – A fruit punch sour made with mango, blood orange, and peach juices. 5% ABV.
  • L’Orange Blanche “Citrusy coriander and juicy orange come together with a creamy base of wheat and oats, to form a satisfying perception of vanilla and honey,” and finished with orange juice, Nouvelle notes. 4.8% ABV.
  • Lil’ Shredder – A 4% ABV session IPA with light citrus and tropical fruit flavors.
  • Sledgehammer – This American barleywine is rich, sweet, and strong, pouring 10% ABV with flavors of caramel, toffee and biscuit.

OMNI Brewing Co.

  • Cryo Smash – A single malt and single hop IPA made with Golden Promise malt and Citra Cryo hops. 5.5% ABV.
  • Emilio! A New England-style IPA made with Sabro and Mosaic hops for flavors of coconut, candy, bubblegum, and a hint of pine. 7.2% ABV.

Pantown Brewing Company

  • Battle of Wits (To the Death!!) – A hazy IPA made with a blend of Galaxy, Enigma, and Nelson Sauvin hops and imparting white grape, passion fruit, peach, and citrus flavors.
  • Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Back on tap today.
  • Synergy – “It’s sour with a rich apple flavor and a smoky, caramel whiskey finish served still so the whiskey flavor lingers,” Pantown explains.

Rapids Brewing Co.

  • Beermosas – Rapids is fresh squeezing orange juice on weekends to make beertails such as Hazy Mimosa and Brut-Mosa.
  • Chef’s Bubbly Brut IPA – This brut IPA was brewed for a departing chef. It is dry, bubby, and hop-forward at 7.2% ABV.
  • Smash Pale Ale #1 – Kicking off a new single malt and single hop series, this pale ale features Maltwerks pale malt and Mosaic hops. 5.5% ABV, 38 IBU.

Reads Landing Brewing Co.

  • Sasquatch A new, limited Canadian pale ale made and Sasquatch hops. Gold in color with a soft mouthfeel, the brewery says.

Steel Toe Brewing

  • Blood Orange Size 7 A fruited twist on the flagship IPA. 7.0% ABV.
  • Size 11 The triple IPA is back on tap in Saint Louis Park. 11.25% ABV.

Urban Growler Brewing Company

  • St. Paul Pale Ale “St. Paul Pale Ale is a citrusy fusion of zesty orange and papaya. This unfiltered pale ale Is medium bodied with toasty maltiness, for a perfect balance between malt and hops,” the brewery states. 6.9% ABV, 45 IBU.

Ursa Minor Brewing

  • Cream of the Hop– A dry-hopped cream ale.
  • It’s a Trap! – A Belgian-style single with clove, banana, and pear notes.
  • Schwarzbier – This German-style black lager is malt-forward and toasty without the heavy body.
  • Second Sighting – A double hazy IPA with mild bitterness and a juicy body.
  • Smoke Show – Malty and smoky.

Venn Brewing Company

  • Hibernaculum An 8.0% ABV Sahti-inspired imperial lager.

Wild Mind Ales

  • Pathways Emerge – Available on Friday, this new hazy IPA is made with Galaxy and Riwaka hops.
