Each week, the Beer Dabbler team highlights five of the most tantalizing new beers available around the great state of Minnesota that we’re most excited to try. Top Flight beers are not necessarily available for purchase at Dabbler Depot–call for availability.
Bemidji Brewing Winter IPA – A New England-style IPA from Bemidji Brewing with big tropical fruit notes, a smooth body, and low bitterness. Hazy, 7.3% ABV, 65 IBU, and available now in 12-ounce cans on and draft.
Copper Trail Brewing Co. Bourbon Barrel Aged Black Betty – A special variant of the porter is available in wax-dipped bottles at the Alexandria taproom.
Hacienda Beer Co. What Could Have Been – “The beer has soft, elegant malt complexity with subtle toasty bread and floral character, with balancing noble hop bitterness and a dry finish,” Hacienda says of its Vienna-style lager, available on Saturday.
Pantown Brewing Company Prodigal Son – Pantown’s saison, but aged in oak whiskey barrels that previously held cider from Milk and Honey. A limited release, tapped a week ago.
Revelation Ale Works Resistance Is Futile – A combination of breweries (Revelation and Disgruntled), plus a combination of Azacca, El Dorado and Lemon Drop hops, go into this hazy IPA with honey. “It’s juicy with an amazing lemon aroma,” Revelation says.
