aseball season is essentially over, so we may as well dive into the season, right? It’s Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis this weekend, showcasing the best of MN beer, and taplines are flowing with winter stouts, caramelly fall flavors, and lighter cream ales too.
Located just down the road from Autumn Brew Review, Dangerous Man is going out on top, unveiling several special beers before their taproom closes later this month.

- S’mores Peanut Butter Porter – In their own words: “We are busting out the goods for our final taproom weeks! S’Mores Peanut Porter is a next-level spin on our classic Peanut Butter Porter that was additionally conditioned on dark chocolate, swirls of marshmallow, and a dash of vanilla.” 6% ABV.

- Eternal Shrug – A black IPA with pine, resin, citrus pith, and malt flavors. 6.66% ABV.
Falling Knife Brewing Co.
- Dark Ritual – A bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout inspired by chocolate-covered cherries. 13.6% ABV.
Fulton Brewery
- Hop Kingdom: Imperial IPA – A new imperial IPA in the Hop Kingdom line, on draft now and sold both individually and in the new Hop Kingdom mixed pack.
Great Lakes Brewing Co.
- Cookie Exchange Milk Stout – A new seasonal beer, sold in the Holiday Pack, inspired by Speculoos (caramel vanilla shortbread). The Holiday Pack will also include Christmas Ale.

- Blue Dream Honey IPA – A dank hazy IPA made with Simcoe, Altus, and Mosaic hops, plus honey. 6.4% ABV and sold in the new Hop Parade IPA variety pack along with Flavorwave, Let It Ride, and Modern Age.
- Let it Ride – Indeed is bringing its first IPA back. Made with Mosaic, Calypso, and El Dorado hops, this 6.8% ABV IPA is sold in the new Hop Parade mixed pack.
Jack Pine Brewery
- Wild Cucumber Vengeance – A fruited jalapeno cream ale.
Klockow Brewing Company
- 22 Hop Road – A wet hop hazy pale ale made with Chinook, Saaz, Cascade, and Willamette from CR Hops Farm in Grand Rapids. 6.2% ABV.
La Doña Cervecería
- Lightning Dog – A 5.1% ABV, 40 IBU pub ale with floral and grassy elements.
Lake Monster Brewing
- Loonatick – A fresh hop IPA made with Amarillo hops, which impart lemon-like characteristics. 5.9% ABV.
- Oktoberfest – “This beer contains 100% German malts and hops, quaffable flavors of toasted cereal grain and light honey, medium-dry finish,” the brewery says. “We also use NovaLager yeast: a non-GMO hybrid that ferments warmer than traditional lagers, making it akin to an Oktoberfest-Kolsch.” 6.1% ABV, 20 IBU.
- Purple Rain – Black currant, blackberry, elderberry, blueberry, and Pinot Noir grapes are added to this 5.4% ABV tart ale.

- BA Bawk Bock – A barrel-aged German-style bock with sweet biscuit and caramel notes. 6.2% ABV.

- Sunset Rider – “This 5.5% pale ale is loaded with Chinook, Centennial, Cascade, and Citra hops which blend perfectly with blood orange purée,” the brewery says.
Lift Bridge Brewing Co.
- Gourmet S’mores from North Mallow – On tap at the Roast ‘N Toast event at the New Richmond brewery on Saturday from 3-8 pm.
- S’mores Infused Fireside Flannel Brown Ale – Available at Roast ‘N Toast.
Little Thistle Brewing
- Dragon Peace – A rice lager with yuzu, brewed in collaboration with local restaurants where it will also be poured.
- Legend Coffee Lager – “A delicate light lager with nutty and coffee notes,” the brewery explains. 4.5% ABV.
- Schwarzenlager – A GABF winner in 2021, this German-style dark lager has notes of chocolate and coffee. 4.3% ABV.
Lupulin Brewing Company
- Sticky Puddles: Party PUnch On draft and coming to liquor stores soon, this is a 9% fruit-forward beer with raspberry, mango, yuzu, pink guava, and pineapple.
Minnewaska House Brewing Co.
- Octoberfest Nut Rye Ale
Nine Mile Brewing
- Autumn’s Song – A hazelnut brown ale with sweet toffee and slightly fruit notes.
- Convergent Paths – A malt-forward dark chocolate espresso milk stout, “This dark ale marries two beverage worlds into one concept beautifully. Malt-forward, roasty, toffee/caramel notes abound… with an edge of sweetness and an aromatic punch of the aforementioned coffee to wrap it all together,” Nine Mile says.
- Recess: Peanut Butter, Banana, Honey Blonde Ale – A new non-alcoholic beer option in Bloomington.
Odell Brewing Co.
- Harvest Fresh – A limited IPA made with fresh hop pellets, this beer offers notes of orange creamsicle, apricot, and citrus.
Oliphant Brewing
- Stout – 6% ABV
Portage Brewing Company
- Seasons Change – “Oktoberfest (5.5%) is a beautiful medley of German malts, and Czech Saaz hops, followed by a spunded fermentation with our house lager yeast. Aromatics of warm cookies, baked bread, and subtle spices fill the glass,” the brewery says.
- Shores Of Time – A dessert double stout with coconut, cacao nibs, and vanilla beans. 8.6% ABV.
South By SouthEast Brewing
- Peanut Butter Frontage Road – Tapped in September.

- Pinkalicious Pomegranate-Hibiscus Wheat Ale – Just as the name describes.
Summit Brewing Co.

- Gozer the Destructor – A sour ale with blackberry, raspberry, passion fruit, and lime.
- Mainline 2023 – This year’s batch of wet-hopped pale ale has a balanced citrus, floral, and pine profile. Made with Mainline Hops Farm Cascade hops and Streiff Brau Centennial Hops.
- Midwest EMO IPA – “This light (4.65%) IPA is packed with Zamba and Centennial hops to give it a fresh citrus/grapefruit flavor & aroma. It’s crisp, light, refreshing and sessionable,” the Moorhead brewery says.
Talking Waters Brewing Co.
- Festbier – Available now, “This is a rich, malt-forward lager with toasty flavors and a light but bold body,” the brewery explains. 5.8% ABV.
- So-Cal – “Clean, hoppy, with just a touch of bitterness,” says Talking Waters. This is a pale ale with tropical fruit-like flavors pouring at 5.5% ABV.
Utepils Brewing
- Loonar Eclipse – A Czech-style dark lager with caramel and toast-like flavors.
Venn Brewing Company
- Luna Obscura – A 4.8% ABV Mexican-style dark lager.
- Venntastico – A 3.5% ABV Mexican-style light lager.
Wild Mind Ales
- Infinite Crisis – A 6.8% ABV hazy IPA made with wheat, plus Citra and Mosaic hops.
- Lunch Money – A hazy double IPA, Lunch Money is juicy, dan, and tropical, coming in at 8.0% ABV.
Yellow Belly Cider
- Hot Mulled Cider – Available at Sapsucker farms for the fall and winter, with or without alcohol.
