Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.

T

his week’s Freshies may start with a double lager release, but the majority of the listing leans on dark beer parties that reflect on the upcoming darkest day of the year instead of leaning light and crisp. There are hot poker parties, anniversary celebrations, and multiple references to hibernation because we all have different coping mechanisms for the long winter ahead.

Noting these diverse styles, what are your preferred winter beers?

Each week, the Beer Dabbler team highlights five of the most tantalizing new beers available around the great state of Minnesota that we’re most excited to try. Check out these Top Flights at Dabbler Depot. Stock is limited! Call for availability.
