Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.

C

risp beers are winning this week’s new beer lineup, whether that means sour ales with a sweet/tart balance or light and medium-bodied session beers with a prominent hop profile. We see a lot of variety in styles but, universally, new beer options lean toward accessible and so-called “crushable” beers that are fitting for the current heatwave.

Whether you seek juicy or fruity or toasty, there are options statewide. We’re also highlighting a few triple IPAs for those who want to go big, and some complex, unique options, such as a blended wine barrel-aged sour from Montgomery Brewing.

Each week, the Beer Dabbler team highlights the most tantalizing new beers available across the state that we’re most excited to try. Check out these Top Flights at Dabbler Depot—Click on each image for stock levels.
