Beer Dabbler events have been a showcase for some of the best breweries and cideries in the region (and nation) for more than a decade, and we pride ourselves on providing an opportunity to introduce new breweries to the Twin Cities’ incredible craft beer community.
The 13th Annual Summer Beer Dabbler will feature 90+ breweries and cideries, 7 of which are breweries that are making their “Summer Dabbler Debuts.” The list contains some brand new locals and out-of-towners along with a few familiar faces, check it out below!

The Pride of Northern Indiana and Southern Chicagoland, 3 Floyds is heavy metal big beer mecca that, until fairly recently, didn’t distribute in Minnesota. While we’ve hosted their WarPigs brand in the past, 2022 will be the first Summer Beer Dabbler to feature 3 Floyds iconic brews. Can we get a “Hell Yeah!”?

Back Channel has become a West Metro craft beer institution so quickly that it’s easy to forget that they just had their 5 year anniversary this spring. While they’ve become a beloved part of our other events, Back Channel has yet to make a Summer Beer Dabbler appearance, and we’re extremely excited to feature their innovative, flavorful beers this year.

Founded in 2007 in Los Cabos by two transplants from Colorado, Baja Brewing has helped to define the craft beer scene of Mexico’s Baja peninsula. With a focus on refreshing, crushable beers that pair perfectly with their two brewery locations’ lush tropical climates, Baja Brewing is set to bring a little taste of paradise to Summer Beer Dabbler.

Chanhassen’s Hackamore Brewing company is so new that their taproom hasn’t even opened yet! Founder Zac Gleason plans to open up later this year with a 10,700 square-foot facility that features a stage and a full-sized golf simulator. For now, you can try their beer for the first time at our festival!

Nine Mile Brewing Company is off to a great start in Bloomington! After opening their doors in February of 2022, the brewery has quickly settled into a rhythm, cranking out a diverse range of tasty beers that range from true-to-style classics to funky infusions. With a crack brew team helmed by Dangerous Man alum John Leingang and Insight vet Ilan Klages-Mundt, Nine Mile’s got a stellar pedigree, so make sure to pay them a visit at the festival.

Situated in the Northwest Chicago suburb of Lake Zurich, Phase Three Brewing have developed a reputation for releasing envelope-pushing hazies that are highly sought-after by UnTappd geeks. Helmed by the accomplished Shaun Berns, whose resume includes Chicago staples MORE and Mikerphone, Phase Three also produce stellar, thoughtfully crafted lagers and sours as well, and we’re excited to see what kind of innovations they bring to Summer Beer Dabbler 2022.

Beer and barbecue are two of our favorite things in the world, so naturally, we’ve become big fans of Minneapolis’ StormKing Brewpub. Featuring a beer program helmed by the talented OMNI and Karben4 album Tim Ott, and located right next to Target Field, StormKing makes for a home run of a destination for Twins fans and Downtown-dweller happy hours.
