Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.

T

here are a million metaphors to highlight the diverse flavors and styles of beer. This week we’ll point at Valentine’s Day. There are definitely beers that fit the stereotype: pink hued and candy-infused. But there are diverse sour and wild ales, special stouts, cherry flourishes, and a wide variety of fruited flavors that defy prediction.

And while those flavors define the new week in beer, there are also special community events and limited pours elsewhere. We’re also halfway through Barrel Aged 2023 at Town Hall, and Hayes’ Public House will host a special firkin event this Saturday highlighting several central Minnesota and west metro breweries.

Each week, the Beer Dabbler team highlights the most tantalizing new beers available across the state that we’re most excited to try. Check out these Top Flights at Dabbler Depot—Click on each image for stock levels.
