Welcome to Beer Dabbler’s Freshies, our weekly rundown on the newest beers hitting the store shelves and taproom coolers in Minnesota from your favorite local and national breweries.
T
he beers are vibrant this week, with colorful tea-based beers, hibiscus, cherry, and summer flavors in full force as we pass the Fourth of July. Floral flavors abound, whether from tea, hops, or actual flowers, alongside a plethora of fruity prickly pear, tangerine, pineapple, mango, cherry, and strawberry. The flavors are often bold yet sessionable.
In addition to summer sippers, new THC drinks are hitting shelves as Minnesota laws change.

10K Brewing
- Attack of the Cows – A cream ale, back on tap now.
- Bi-kini Bottom – This New England-style IPA has notes of pineapple and stonefruit and was brewed for Pride. 6.7% ABV.
- Mexican Lager – “A refreshing lager with bold flavors of lime and salt,” the brewery says. 5.6% ABV.
- Wooly Bully – A one-off celebration version of Wooly Bully at 7% ABV, brewed in honor of the late Jeffrey Hauf.

- Blood Orange
Bent Brewstillery
- Blurple – A hazy fruited sour ale made with acai, blueberry, and lemon. 6% ABV and on tap now.
Bent Paddle Brewing Co.
- Cold IPA – A light body, golden IPA with balanced notes of pineapple, passion fruit, mango, papaya, and juicy citrus with a clean, dry finish.
- Heck It – A Pilot batch of Helles lager. 5.4% ABV, 17 IBU.
- Paddlin’ Beer Bent Paddle Brewing Co. An American lager collaboration with Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters and West Mountain Drifters, debuting at a special event this Friday featuring Trampled By Turtles.
- Soft Hearted Bent Paddle Brewing Co. A 5.8% ABV, 18 IBU American-style wheat ale on tap at the brewery.

Fair State Brewing Cooperative

- Medieval England Reference – A malty ESB, on nitro at Fair State, and featuring English hop varieties.
- Side Pull – A Czech-style Pilsner made with all Czech-grown ingredients, brewed in collaboration with Bierstadt Lagerhaus. 4.1% ABV.
Lupulin Brewing Company
- Lil Smazey – A 5mg THC beverage available in flavors of Cherry Line Blue Raspberry, Prickly Pear Key Lim, Raspberry, and Strawberry Lemonade. Sold in 12-ounce cans in the brewery (no onsite consumption) and in select stores and venues.
- Smazey – A 10mg THC beverage available in flavors of Cherry Line Blue Raspberry, Prickly Pear Key Lim, Raspberry, and Strawberry Lemonade. Sold in 16-ounce cans in the brewery (no onsite consumption) and in select stores and venues.
Modist Brewing Co.
- Heavy: Orange Sunshine – A THC beverage collaboration with Heavy Clothing, this is a sparkling water infused with fresh tangerine, pink grapefruit, and Minnesota-grown hemp-derived Delta 9. 10mg per can and on sale as of July 1.
New Glarus Brewery
- Strawberry Rhubarb – Available in Wisconsin as of June.

- Blackberry Shandy – This limited shandy takes a Shore Lunch base with added blackberry purée.
Pantown Brewing Company
- Bombpop Slushie – ‘Tis the season.
- Coffee Cream Ale

- Oakily Dokily – A Flanders-style red ale aged on French oak spirals from The Barrel Mill (Avon).
- Pear Sour
Portage Brewing Company
- Comfort In The Fog – Tapped in June, this is a New England-style double dry-hopped IPA with juicy mango, flaked coconut, and tangerine peels character. 6.9% ABV.
- It’s A Vibe – A 6% ABV summer stout with notes of coconut cake and chocolate.
- Nectar Pils – “Dry-hopped with Nectaron hops, this crushable lager bursts with aromatics of nectarine and cantaloupe. This beer was so well received from our anniversary that we decided to welcome it back full-time for this summer,” Portage explains.
- Summer’s Light – A 4.6% ABV light lager with Minnesota Pilsner malt, flaked corn, and German Hallertau Mittlefruh hops.
- Vibrance In Color – A fruity, tart beer made with blueberry puree, blueberry rooibos tea, and hibiscus. 6.2% ABV.
Rapids Brewing Co.
- Key Lime Dream Cream Ale – A dessert-inspired tart, sweet, and creamy 4.9% ABV ale made with key lime puree and vanilla beans.
Reads Landing Brewing Co.
- Cap’n Amber – A rich, malt-forwards amber ale with mild herbal notes and a crisp addition of Cap’n Crunch cereal.
Red Wing Brewery
- Work Boot Red – Returned to the tap lines in early June.
Revel Brewing
- MN Wild – Made with locally sourced ingredients, including wild rice and maple sap. 4.5% ABV, 25 IBU.
Revelation Ale Works
- Dad Chaniels – “A session IPA coming in at a light 5% ABV. We brewed this crusher with pale, malted heat, and oats to provide a good body; hopped it with Citra and El Dorado to give it some ripe pineapple, citrus, and stone fruit vibes,” the northern brewery notes.
River Siren Brewing Co.
- Grapefruit Sailor’s Destruction – A West Coast-style IPA with grapefruit.

- Stone Imperial Notorious P.O.G. – Stone’s Berliner Weisse, in a bigger ABV and inspired by POG juice (passion fruit, orange, and guava). 8% ABV, 25 IBU.
Sunken Ship Brewing Company
- Grove in a Cove – A sweet and tart sour ale made with peach and apricot. 4.9% ABV.
- Sunsets, No Regrets – Another sour ale, this one is tart and juicy with pineapple and mango interaction. 4.9% ABV.
Swing Barrel Brewing Co.
- Feelin’ Beachy – A 6.2% ABV lime lager.
- Hoptometrist – A new hazy IPA made with Citra and Mosaic hops.
- Tartfelt Love Affair – “Is a perfect combination of strawberry and lemonade. It’s tart, fruity, and refreshing,” the brewery says.
Talking Waters Brewing Co.
- Ghosted – A Cali IPA, according to the brewery.
- Stony Run – A clean pale ale made with Cascade and Centennial hops. 5.8% ABV and available on draft and in cans.
- Tongue Twister – A smoothie-style sour ale made with blackberry, lime, and vanilla.
Urban Growler Brewing Company
- Rhubarb Wit – A crispy and slightly tangy wheat ale with light orange peel and coriander. Made with Minnesota-grown rhubarb.
Wandering Leaf Brewing
Paleontology – A single-hop pale ale featuring Azacca hops.
Wild Mind Ales
- Cloud Rupture – A juicy and tropical hazy IPA with Citra, Strata, Motueka, and Sabro Cryo hops. 6.3% ABV.
- Dream Vigil – Described as a wine and cider hybrid, this 9.1% ABV farmhouse ale offers a blend of Belgian and French saison yeasts, plus Chardonnay and cider juices. “The result is a dry, ethereal, prickly beer that’s bursting with flavor,” the brewery says.
