Set a World Record at the Beer Dabbler

The Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival 2014 will offer more than the opportunity to sample hundreds of craft beers from local, national, and international breweries. It will also provide festival-goers the opportunity to break a Winter Carnival worthy world record. The Beer Dabbler is proud to announce that its Guinness World Records™ application for Largest Snowball Fight has been accepted and will attempt to set a new world record of at least 7,000 participants at The Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival on January 25, 2014.

When & Where

The World’s Largest Snowball Fight will take place at 7:30pm inside the festival grounds in the Bourbon County Snow Park. Those interested in participating will need to purchase a ticket to the Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival 2014 to access the Snow Ball Fight area.

What to Bring

Make sure to wear appropriate winter coat that will keep you insulated from even wet snow. Other items we encourage you bring are Snow Goggles, Thick Winter Gloves or Mittens, Snow Pants, Waterproof or Water Resistant Winter Boots,and a good Winter Hat. Remember: Layers, layers, layers.

Rules

This will be a good, old-fashioned snowball fight. A few rules to guide the battle:

1. No throwing of ice chunks, ice balls, or any variation of ice or objects other than pure snow.

2. To set the World Record for Largest Snowball Fight every participant needs to throw snow for at least one minute.

3. No overly aggressive behavior. Let’s keep this fun for everyone.
